Welcome to the second week of Haiku Bombers!
This week’s prompt, as a reminder, is ST. PATRICK’s DAY.

St.Patrick (image via: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Patrick)
I.
Not many people
celebrating in the church.
Where is St.Patrick?
II.
The Guinness does flow;
everyone’s a bit Irish
on St.Patrick’s Day.
III.
Toast to Saint Patrick’s
annual drunk day. Next day,
annual sick day.
IV.
Gotta wear some green,
shamrock shakes don’t count, or
you’ll get punched in Boston.

Whoo!
Devout Patron Saint
Of Ireland, how did you come
To be beer toasted?
I’ve wondered that myself
Maybe he drank beer
and peed on the snakes?
Lol!!
The wobbly saint screamed
As the wet snakes slid away
Wishing for Guinness
Flee from Ireland
those poor, sodden snake did go.
Are they in England?
No the United States. My son in law left Dublin as soon as he was old enough. He saw no future there.
Nice one!!!
From slave to bishop
We now toast Saint Patrick with
The toucan’s dark pint
Were his name Friar
Tuck, I’d understand why we
binge drink once a year.
You would have to be
careful getting drunken
around that name.
Ted, what a great laugh
you gave me his early morn.’
I need some coffee.

I know this is already after the closing of the challenge, but just as a comment:
Some people forget:
Green is for the Catholics.
Protestants wear orange.
Whoo!
Good for you! My nephew and I had a conversation about this.
